FLIP v5 Website & Video

OVERVIEW

I led the redesign of FLIP’s marketing website and materials for the v5 launch, using the design system of the updated app, restructuring content around features and use cases, and creating new acquisition funnels and a marketing video. The work resulted in an 8% increase in leads, a 14% boost in time on site, and a 22% increase in app views.

FULL DETAILS

With the launch of FLIP v5, the product had evolved significantly, meaning it was time for a refreshed marketing site and materials that matched the new product direction and design system. The objective was to communicate core features and use cases, increase conversion, and support sales with more targeted assets.

MY ROLE
As Head Designer, I led the end-to-end redesign of the FLIP marketing website to support the launch of v5. This included creating a new visual language matching the updated app, working with the team on content strategy, designing new acquisition funnels, and producing the new intro video.

CHALLENGES
The original marketing site no longer represented the different uses for the product. We needed to clearly communicate new features, modernize the design, and drive higher-quality leads. The visual style had to align with the new app, while also functioning as a marketing and conversion tool. We also aimed to produce a high-quality intro video to support both web and sales efforts.

SOLUTIONS
I worked with sales and development to rewrite and restructure the site content with a focus on features and use cases. I created a new visual style, using the app’s updated design system as the foundation. I mapped out new user funnels to guide visitors into the app or to request a demo, optimizing calls to action and page flow. For the video, I led the scriptwriting and storyboarding process, attended recording sessions, and then built and edited the final product.
